Okeechobee's Best Kept Secret
Gracious Tiny House Park is growing our tiny house community right here in Florida. Actually, we love tiny houses! It's just so hard to find where you can park a tiny house in Florida.
We are owned and operated by family values and promote moral and ethical accountability. Therefore we are mindful that we live in community, with a caring eye on each other, while acknowledging that as individuals, we just want to live in peace and quiet in an economical manner. Tiny homes in an affordable area: casual, rural, simple. What's not to love?
Tiny House Communities in Florida
As you may know from searching for the perfect tiny home community in Florida, there are not many places where you can legally live in your tiny house in South Florida. Accordingly, the east coast, specifically, Palm Beach County, Broward County and Miami/Dade County are not conducive to parking tiny homes. The restrictions and zoning regulations make it very difficult, plus there are the NIMBYs to deal with. (Not In My Back Yard). We try to stay current with the growing popularity of building a tiny home community in Florida. Would you like to be part of our growing community where you can legally live in your tiny house in Florida?
As Tiny House Manager, I grew up in South Florida, in the Boca Raton, Delray, West Palm Beach area. Although it is densely populated in those east coast cities, the call of the country and lakefront living drew me out to Okeechobee and so it began...
Tiny House - Community Life
Although our property is currently one third tiny homes, one third RVs, and one third mobile homes, surely we are going tiny. Some folks live here for years, but as RVs move out, we then have room for more tiny homes to join our community. Eventually we will tip the scales. Increasingly, tiny house owners are seeking affordable, quiet living in a natural setting without the stress of dense population or the pretense of fancy cities. If you're looking for fast-paced exitement, glitz & glam, look elsewhere; that's not who we are. LOL
The park is set along Lake Okeechobee's Rim Canal on about one and a half acres and divided into 21 level sites, each with full water, sewer and 30/50 amp electric hook ups. Subsequently, each site has room for your Tiny House, an additional vehicle, and an area for outdoor seating, either grassy or a concrete patio. All sites are wired for dedicated 30 amp service or 50 amp service provided by the local utility company. Gracious Tiny House Park has both waterfront sites and interior lots available for long-term, legal Tiny House parking in Florida!
Your tiny house on wheels is more than just a mobile home -- Come live legally in your South Florida tiny house and help make us the favorite place for long-term tiny house parking in Florida.
As a growing Florida tiny house community, we have plans to develop a community garden so we're looking for someone with a "green thumb". Likewise, input from our new tiny house community residents is welcome.
